Alexander Henselmann joined Mitscherlich in October 2019. His academic background in electrical engineering and computer science with specialization in power systems, and his professional experience in the automotive industry and the energy efficiency sector, give him the technical expertise for dealing with inventions in a wide range of technologies. Alexander advises and represents national and international clients from a variety of industries, including telecommunications, automotive, lighting, electronics, mechanical engineering, and medical technology.

While Alexander is involved in all matters of intellectual property, he is particularly specialized in German and European patent prosecution, as well as patent opposition proceedings. Here, Alexander is strongly active in the field of mobile communications, power electronics, and lighting systems, and has also acquired notable expertise in other highly contested fields like display technologies and photovoltaics. In addition, Alexander provides strategic counsel on patent validity and infringement, and further supports clients with multinational trademark applications.
